I wrote ‘All The Mountains I Must Climb’ over the span of more than a decade. From the first song ‘Running Away’ outlining what it felt like to leave a home that wasn’t safe for me, to ‘Mad’, a song I wrote about having fibromyalgia and crippling anxiety, ‘Guys Like You’ about leaving toxic relationships, right through to ‘One Foot In Front Of The Other’ which is basically a song, where I’m talking to myself, convincing myself to get the hell up, keep going, keep conquering my demons, keep climbing those mountains knowing full well that if you just keep putting one foot in front of the other - as long as you’re going in the right direction, you’re going to get there. I know I’ll get there. I know you’ll get there.
