Don’t, was written in January of 2021. I was single and fairly fresh to the whole dating thing and scared as hell of falling for someone who wasn’t going to love me back. I’d been through enough and didn’t need another heart break in my life. Love is such an important thing for me. To be known and to be understood and well loved is one of the things that makes life worth living but not everyone feels like that. Some people just consume people in the same way you’d consume a cheeseburger. This song was a pleading; if you think you’re gonna love me tonight, but someday that you won’t - don’t.
