Guided Meditation (10-Week Term)
Term One - Thursday Feb 5- Thursday April 9
This is a nurturing, grounded meditation class for people who want to slow down, settle their nervous system, and develop a steady, supportive meditation practice.
The emphasis is on simple, accessible meditation — nothing complicated, forced, or performative. You don’t need prior experience, and you don’t need to “clear your mind.” We work gently with breath, body awareness, imagery, and presence to help you feel more at ease in yourself. Practicing with the same group over the term creates a sense of safety and familiarity, allowing the practice to deepen naturally over time. Each session builds on the last, supporting consistency rather than one-off experiences. This class is especially suited to people who: Feel busy, overwhelmed, or mentally fatigued Want a calm, steady practice without pressure to “do it right” Are seeking grounding, clarity, and emotional steadiness Prefer a warm, supportive environment over rigid instruction Gentle background music may be used at times to support relaxation and presence, alongside periods of quiet and stillness. After 10 weeks, most students feel calmer, more centred, and better equipped to meet everyday life with greater steadiness and self-awareness. Classes are offered by the term to support continuity, commitment, and genuine rest.
You can choose to do Yoga on its own, or attend both Yoga and Meditation classes together. Yoga starts at 6:30pm and Meditation starts at 7:30pm and is held through the duration of school term at the Elmoos Centre on Jacobs Drive Sussex Inlet. Bookings are essential.
