You Don’t Know The Half Of It
A song about regret. Thankfully I don’t actually have any regrets these days, as I feel like I’ve learnt the most from my greatest mistakes. The things I’ve learnt have got me to here - and here’s a pretty great place to be. If you do relate to this one, stick around as I’m creating a bunch of content to help people move past regret and other super negative head spaces.
Everything I Get
This song is about living right at the bottom of a shame spiral. When you’re pushing everyone away because you can’t stand the expectations they have that you’re ‘better than this’ because you’re that far down that you really don’t think you are and you’re not worth trying for. If you ever get stuck in that space, remember I was there too once and you don’t have to stay there. Sure it sucks, hating on yourself is a right misery but there are things that you can do to move past that and get help to crawl your way out of that hole. Believe me. From addiction to mental health issues I really get it and am committed to creating some really helpful resources to help people transition through this space and into a more positive, healthy and progress orientated mindset. We’ve got this! Stick around!
One Day At A Time
This is the encouragement part - I know it sucks when you’re feeling low, or life keeps throwing curve balls. The last few years I don’t know one single person it hasn’t been tough for. Things have been chaotic and I don’t know about you, but chaos throws me way out of whack. I like stability, routine, and things in their places (and my house has flooded twice the last 18 months and I still can’t find my all my belongings). I’m looking forward to coming back to consistency and being able to put things away but the house is still being repaired and in the meantime I’m taking it one day at a time. Whatever you’re going through, whatever time, headspace or situation you find yourself in, this too shall pass. You’ve only got to get through today. Keep going.
