Introduction to the Michelle Cashman Show!
Hi and welcome! I am actually very glad that you’re here because I have so much to tell you and this is genuinely the best way that I could come up with for sharing some of the stuff I’ve learnt.
This show is designed with one purpose in mind: I want to help as many people as I can to be able to get their health and mojo back. I want to help people like you, find and live out their passion and purpose, and have the Vitality they need to be able to kick some serious goals in their life.
I’m going to give you some of my best tips on:
- Overcoming obstacles
- Getting your health and mojo back
- Chronic illness and what might be contributing to keeping you unhealthy
- Dealing with anxiety and depression
- How to eat to fuel your body with what it needs to not just survive but thrive.
- Ways to manage stress and feeling overwhelmed (and of course...)
- Ways for you to get out of a slump and get back on track with what really lights you up.
Am I ready for this? Nope. I’m scared out of my brain but something that I have learnt to do, is feel the fear and do it anyway. The best thing that I have learnt comes from a quote by Marianne Williamson:
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
- Maryanne Williamson
For me that quote means, that while I’m putting a show together like this, and having that niggling little voice that says “who are you to do something like this and have your head all over the internet, why should people listen to you, people will think you think you know everything and you don’t”, that voice exists and I think to myself this is not about me. Playing small does not serve the world. Which is where my heart is. By me doing that, I’m also giving other people out there permission to follow their dream and their goal and shine their own light - whatever that looks like for them.
So, before I leave I want you to ask yourself this: What is it that I have been putting off because I am afraid? What would it mean for other people if I did it even though I am afraid?
